Branding for BeefCo, a frozen meat portuguese brand.
APPACDM (The Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Disabled Citizen) from Évora in partnership with the University of Évora created a project, which intended to implement interventions with music and movement, with a manual (Ebook) that taught how to make instruments with materials various day-to-day activities and activities to be carried out (activity book).
The logo proposal that follows was created having as a starting point common, the idea of movement, color and rhythm, expressed through the use of white lines that refer to the musical staff with the musical symbols and the colorful background gradient. The circular shape chosen to represent the logo, plays a key role, as the circle is a shape that is strongly associated with idea of movement, renewal, discovery.
The use of a stylized human figure, in the center of the circle, places the spectator as to the central objective of this project, the search for sounds, made by each of us, individuals in this society.
The colors chosen for the gradient background also have the objective of targeted communication, as you can see bellow.

The choice of typography focused on a modern font, sans serif, in easy to read in different modes (print and digital) and that fits harmonious with the symbols represented. In this proposal the typography was placed in a round box, in order to follow and reinforce the shape of the symbol represented.
